What’s new
Recent improvements to Denhold.
-
Fix v0.6.4 October 15, 2026
Priority queue: the list is no longer capped
- Adding a player to the priority queue could be refused with “All reserved slots are used” as soon as the list reached the number of reserved slots. That number is how many slots the server keeps free, not a limit on the list: you can add as many players as you like.

New v0.6.3 October 13, 2026
Stats by season
- A season runs from one WARDOGS wipe to the next. The community page, server pages and player profiles now show the current season by default; past seasons stay available in the “Seasons and events” menu.
- New Periods screen in the panel: single out the stats of a community event (tournament, game night, operation) between two dates. Each server’s Kills screen can be set to a season or a period, and you choose which ones appear on your public page. It takes the new “Manage stats periods” permission.
- On Discord, /stats and /top also start from the current season.
- Community page rankings now really cover 90 days or all time when you pick them (they stopped at 31 days).

Fix v0.6.3 October 13, 2026
RCON password changed: Denhold tells you
- When the server rejects Denhold’s RCON password (after a password change, for example), a banner says so on every page of the server, with a link to update it. Before, the server just looked unreachable.
- Denhold now retries only occasionally instead of insisting: WARDOGS blocks connections for a while after rejected passwords, and insisting extended that block. As soon as the new password is saved, tracking resumes.
- The “Rejected RCON connections” webhook also alerts your staff in this case, and the connection test says exactly what is wrong: password rejected, connection blocked for a moment, or too many requests.
-
New v0.6.2 October 12, 2026
Every match summed up on Discord
- New webhook event “Match end (summary)”: when a match ends, a message with the map, the winner, the scores, the duration, the number of players and kills, and the top three players.
- Players who hid their stats, or banned players, stay anonymous there, as on the public page.
-
Improvement v0.6.2 October 12, 2026
Easier-to-read public pages
- The menu at the top of a community’s pages leads to its servers, its rankings and its Discord. A signed-in player sees their Steam avatar there, and staff find “Manage in the panel” in it.
- A server’s recent matches: the whole row opens the match, and the winning team stands out in its colour in the score.
- Match page: a single scoreboard, each nickname in its team’s colour.
- The community’s colour applies everywhere, weapon bars included, and the “Copy code” button stays readable on the banner.
-
Improvement v0.6.2 October 12, 2026
A lighter panel menu
- At the bottom of the menu, your name opens “My account”, with sign-out right next to it. Language and stream mode are set in “My account”.
-
Improvement v0.6.1 October 12, 2026
The logo gets its shape back
- The logo returns to its square tile with rounded corners, now purple, instead of the shield. It reads better in a browser tab and on a phone’s home screen.
- The preview shown when you share a Denhold link (Discord, social networks) turns purple too.
-
Fix v0.6.1 October 12, 2026
Player limit editable with every host
- With some hosts, the server configuration doesn’t set a maximum number of players. Changing “Maximum players” on the Configuration screen then showed an error. The setting is now added to the configuration when it’s missing.
-
New v0.6.0 October 12, 2026
Try Pro for 14 days, no card needed
- From the Subscription screen, the owner can switch their community to Pro for 14 days, with no payment method and up to 3 active servers. One trial per community.
- A banner shows the whole staff how many days are left. At the end, without a subscription, the community simply goes back to the free plan.
-
New v0.6.0 October 12, 2026
A demo of your own
- “Try the demo” on the home and pricing pages: sign in with Steam and take over your own Pro demo community, with a fictional server full of players and a week of history, for 24 hours.
- Kick, ban, change the map or tune the automations: the server reacts. Nothing leaves the demo, and you can start over at any time.
-
New v0.6.0 October 12, 2026
Randomly drawn matches
- In the rotation, the map, the lighting and the control zones offer “Random”: a new draw at every new match. A drawn map is played in its default mode, with the chosen variant if it has one.
-
New v0.6.0 October 12, 2026
Richer public pages
- An online server tells where it stands: empty, starting up (“12 players more to start”) or launched, with an invitation to join.
- Statistics can be read over 7, 30 or 90 days, or over the whole history.
- A player’s profile sums up their matches (wins, losses, win rate), per map and per faction, and shows their three nemeses and three favourite victims.
- Weapons and vehicles are shown with their in-game render, on the site and in the panel (weapon page, favourite weapon, banned weapons).
-
Improvement v0.6.0 October 12, 2026
New look and a handier panel
- Denhold turns purple, with a new shield logo, on the site and in the panel.
- A “Search or act…” field at the top of the panel (Ctrl K) and one-click quick announcements. Language and stream mode move to the bottom of the menu.
- Steam avatars in player lists, smoother loading, empty lists that explain what to do, and a lighting change you can undo in one click.
- The menu scrolls to the open server, and the panel fits phones better.
-
Fix v0.6.0 October 12, 2026
Small fixes
- A player’s action menu no longer closes by itself right after opening a server.
- On the site, going back to the community or the server is now a proper button.
-
New v0.5.2 October 12, 2026
A reorganized panel
- The menu starts with your community (overview, players, default rules, public page, staff, roles, log, settings, subscription), then your servers.
- A server’s automations (anti-ping, no team, forbidden nicknames, banned weapons, launchers, auto messages) have their own group, and an “inherited” or “own” badge tells whether the rule comes from the community or the server. With a single server, none of this gets in your way.
- A server’s settings are split between “Game” (WARDOGS configuration, rotation, 50v50) and “Server” (RCON connection, kill feed, notifications, read-only).
- The public page has its own screen: publication, servers shown with their public name and, new, their order on the page. The community’s settings and subscription have theirs too.
- The panel says “community” everywhere, and “staff” for the people who run it.
-
New v0.5.2 October 12, 2026
Players across the whole community
- New community Players screen: search for a player on all your servers at once, with their servers, playtime, whether they’re online and their active bans. One click opens their community sheet.
- Also from the action center (Ctrl K): “Search players for …”.
-
New v0.5.2 October 12, 2026
Automatic messages in sequences
- The welcome message is sent once the player has picked a team, no longer while they load. New {team} variable: “Welcome to the {team}!”.
- Each automatic message can be a sequence: up to 8 messages, each with its own delay, edited one by one with a timed preview. Your existing messages are kept as they are.
-
Fix v0.5.2 October 12, 2026
Small fixes
- “Pro plan” notices lead straight to the subscription.
- Getting started: with several servers, the steps lead to the community’s default rules.
- Monitoring: Denhold’s status fits on one line, “operational” or “degraded”.
-
Fix v0.5.1 October 11, 2026
New servers and map rotation
- Priority queue (reserved slots): the page opens again on a freshly installed server, instead of showing “An internal error occurred”.
- The sample Steam ID (00000000000000000) that WARDOGS puts in a new server’s lists no longer shows up among banned players or in the priority queue.
- Map rotation: each match’s variant (Infantry only, Hardcore) is read and applied correctly, the “KOTH” mode no longer appears twice, and the configuration shows the same rotation as the server summary.
-
New v0.5.0 October 10, 2026
Chained messages
- Announcements: each line of a message is sent as a separate message, a few seconds after the previous one (up to 5 lines of 200 characters). The delay is set from 2 to 30 seconds, and the preview shows the sequence.
- For the welcome, match start and recurring messages; a message to everyone waits for the previous one to finish.
-
Fix v0.5.0 October 10, 2026
Typing in lists
- Banned weapons and forbidden nicknames: you can type again in the ladder messages and forbidden words without the field closing on every character.
-
New v0.4.0 October 10, 2026
Nicknames: forbidden alphabets
- Refuse nicknames written in another alphabet: Cyrillic, Chinese, Arabic, Korean… A single letter is enough; the player is warned, then kicked if they don’t change it.
- Denhold no longer imposes a word list: each community picks its own.
-
New v0.4.0 October 10, 2026
Banned players out of the stats
- A player banned on one of your servers disappears from the leaderboards, records and profiles of your public page while the ban lasts: a cheater does not stay first in K/D.
-
Fix v0.4.0 October 10, 2026
Matches, launchers and settings
- Match history: no more duplicate 0-minute match at the end of each round; duplicates already recorded are removed.
- Launchers: the reserved slot reward is now actually added in game (active after the next server restart), and never shortens an existing slot.
- Configuration: the number of players needed to start a match no longer goes below 20, the game’s limit.
- Stats: more weapons and vehicles show their real name.
-
Improvement v0.3.1 October 9, 2026
Simpler settings
- Banned weapons: weapons are picked one by one, vehicle weapons included; the “whole vehicles” option is gone.
- Settings pages only show “Save” when there are changes, in a bar that stays visible, with a button to cancel.
- Rotation: choose Standard, Infantry only or Hardcore, then apply it to the whole rotation in one click.
- Pending invitations show the invited person’s Steam nickname and avatar.
-
New v0.3.0 October 9, 2026
Banned weapons (Pro)
- Forbid weapons, or whole vehicles, on your server: every kill made with one of them, friendly fire included, is caught.
- Your own sanction ladder, step by step: message, kill, kick, temporary or permanent ban, each with its message. Or the default ladder, in one click.
- Several kills at once only count once, the memory goes from 24 hours to 3 months, and a player can be pardoned.
-
New v0.3.0 October 9, 2026
50v50 mode
- Close a faction: whoever joins it is moved to the least populated team, respawns and gets a message explaining why.
- Both teams stay close: a player joining the team that is too far ahead is sent to the other one. Settled players never move.
- The game’s team balancing, which would block both teams against an empty faction, is turned off automatically.
-
New v0.3.0 October 9, 2026
Forbidden nicknames
- Private warning, then kick, for players whose nickname contains a forbidden word: your list, and a Denhold base list.
- Workarounds are caught: capitals, accents, digits instead of letters, separated or disguised letters.
- Optional format rules (length, readable letters, symbols), and a tester to try a nickname before enabling.
-
Improvement v0.3.0 October 9, 2026
Getting started and documentation
- Full documentation on the website, and a “How does it work?” block on every settings page of the panel.
- Getting-started steps tick themselves, and a dedicated list guides you when you move to Pro.
- My account: your organizations and your pending invitations.
- Launchers: an in-game message to each launcher, with their score and reward.
-
New v0.2.0 October 8, 2026
One player, the whole community
- In the panel, a player's sheet now covers all your servers: playtime, money earned, kills, sanctions and bans, with a server filter.
- Members page: each member's name opens their player sheet.
- On your community page, a “Manage in the panel” button; in the panel, a link to your public page.
- Help and support: our Discord, reachable from the site and the panel.
- On-screen privacy: IP and RCON addresses hidden, and a stream mode that also hides Steam IDs.
-
Fix v0.2.0 October 8, 2026
Member roles
- Each member's role is shown correctly: the list could show “Super administrator” for everyone, without changing actual rights.
- An invitation now shows the role it really grants.
- The anti-ping simulation notice clearly explains why nobody is kicked.
-
New v0.1.0 October 8, 2026
First public release
- Free plan and Pro plan, detailed on the pricing page.
- Per-weapon statistics, compared with the average of all Denhold communities, with a page for each weapon.
- Match history in the panel, and money earned by each player, with its leaderboard.
- Sentinel takes the weapon used into account before flagging a player.
- Game modes shown everywhere, and the next match's mode chosen from the dashboard.
- Confirmation before every sensitive action: kick, ban, map, configuration…
-
New October 2026
Public match history
- Every match on a public server: map, duration, winner and scores.
- Kills and players aggregated, never revealing a hidden player.
-
New October 2026
Server launchers leaderboard
- Players who restart an empty server get public recognition.
- Optional reward: a temporary reserved slot on each restart.
-
Improvement October 2026
Richer player profiles
- Steam avatar, favorite weapon, best streak and attendance.
- Public pages fully translated into English.
