Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data Denhold processes, why, and how to exercise your rights.

Data controller

François Pansera (EI), publisher of Denhold, whom you can reach at francois.pansera@gmail.com.

Data processed

Account: your Steam ID, your cached Steam name and avatar, and, for each session, its date, IP address and browser.

Game data received from communities' servers (kill feed): players' Steam ID and in-game name, and kill events. Denhold keeps them to provide the history and statistics the game API does not retain.

Subscription: the e-mail address and billing details entered on the payment page. Your card is entered and processed by Stripe only: Denhold never has access to it and only keeps the Stripe customer and subscription IDs and the subscription status.

Purposes and legal bases

Providing the admin panel and statistics (performance of the service).

Managing the subscription, payments and invoices (performance of the contract, accounting obligations).

Keeping the service secure and logging administration actions (legitimate interest).

Complying with our legal obligations.

Retention

Account and memberships: while the account exists; sessions expire after 30 days at most.

Kill feed and match history: 180 days. Players' game sessions: 90 days. Daily earnings: 400 days. Per-player totals (leaderboards, total money earned) are kept while the community exists.

After going back to the free plan, Pro plan data is deleted after 90 days.

Audit log: 1 year.

Invoices and billing data: 10 years (accounting obligation), at Stripe.

Recipients

The communities you belong to, for data tied to their servers.

Our providers: OVH (hosting, in France), Stripe (payment) and Steam (Valve) for sign-in and public profile. No data is ever sold.

Stripe may process some data outside the European Union, with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection.

From your account: “Export my data” and “Delete my account”. As a player, you can hide your public statistics from “My statistics”, without an account.

Cookies

Denhold only uses necessary cookies: panel session, public site session when a player signs in with Steam (30 days at most, sign out at any time), language choice, and a sign-in hint with no personal data. No advertising cookie or third-party tracker.

The payment page, hosted by Stripe, uses its own cookies, needed for payment and fraud prevention.

Security

Sign-in via Steam (no password stored), encryption of secrets, isolation between communities and an audit log.
